Mercy, Hospital, Asylum and Intercession
Service and Care
The Ministry of Mercy carries out its work through blood donations at the Cruz Alta Blood Center and relies on approximately 60 servants who make themselves available to save lives. The Bible teaches that it is better to give than to receive (Acts 20:35) and also exhorts us to live an active faith: “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech alone, but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18). The purpose is to bear witness to the love of Christ through caring for others, as an expression of the gospel in action.

Asylum Ministry
The Asylum Ministry visits the Santo Antônio Nursing Home, sharing the message of salvation in Jesus. Today, the ministry has more than 20 dedicated servants committed to teaching the Word and caring for the elderly, serving through worship and prayer. The Bible teaches us to practice mercy and honor the elderly: “Stand up in the presence of the elderly; show respect for the elderly” (Leviticus 19:32). The purpose of these visits is to strengthen hope in the hearts of the elderly and show that there is new life, even in old age.

Hospital Ministry
The Hospital Ministry consists of approximately 30 servants who visit hospitalized patients, offering support through prayer and reading the Word, according to the needs of each situation. This ministry is grounded in the authority delegated by Jesus to heal (Mark 16:18) and in the biblical principle that the prayer of faith will save the sick (James 5:15)

Intercession Ministry
The Intercession Ministry works by persevering in prayer for spiritual and social causes. About 50 servantes intercede for the Church, the nation, and families, believing that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). The ministry began in 2013, during a period of illness that affected one of the leaders, and since then has not ceased to pray, understanding that intercession is an essential part of the Christian life. As the Apostle Paul instructs, the church is called to offer “supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for everyone” (1 Timothy 2:1), remaining steadfast in seeking God’s will.
